Canadian Museum of Civilisation

hello everyone,
so yesterday i went to another museum. museum is kinda fun to visit sometime. and this one, Canadian Museum of Civilization i actually enjoyed the most. The War Museum was fine. but this museum actually fascinated me the most. it is not located in Ottawa, Ontario but in Gatineau, Quebec. which is on the other side separated by the Rideau River. fortunate for me there are bus to go there although it is on a different province. so for once in my life i can say i went to Gatineau alone without knowing any french at all (yeah right, like i spoke a word there). anyway, there are a buttload of information to learn there. From the First Nation, kids, Post Office to how Canada came to be what it is today. so by far, i had the most fun here. here is some pictures i took there.

this is the first floor of the museum. this is basically the native stuff. always fun to watch the First Nation art crafts. they spay attention on precisions and details. the symbolism., i dont care much, you have to read it on your own time.

War Museum

eeeekkkk ooooo....hehe...me again...nothing much...life goes shorter and shorter...so best way to reminisce about memory...yes MUSEUM!!!...haha...anyway...i'm really on a museum mood this couple of week ever since i knew that museum give free admission every thursday...well actually there only been two exhibit i went...National Art Gallery and War Museum....here in Ottawa....i have already shown something about the art gallery last week...now for the War Museum....

I've got to be honest...i'm not a man of war...any war...the good, the bad, the ugly, or even Narnia...which exactly why War Museum was not something i'm looking forward to....but learning stuffs about war here is absolutely amazing and worth the 20 minutes bus ride to get here...plus its free...any knowledge got free is always a good thing....

i want to take the picture of the Museum building but can't...because it was dark and it was big...anyway, the architecture of the building reminds me of a bunker....u know...somewhere where the "important" people runs to when there is nuclear holocaust or something....but still it is in keeping with the mood...and it is a War Museum...what better structure to show than a freaking bunker....

Hitler's very own Benz.....this give me chills....seriously looking at his car give me chills...

The Inside of the Parliament Building

finally...i have been to the parliament hill too many times already...to relax, to watch concert, to make snowman...but never once i have the courage to enter that british inspired building...it is free for public tours...a tour guide will bring you around to show you important part of the building n the parliament...the common room, the senate room and the most magnificent library i have ever seen...they will show you...and did i mention, it is FREE...if only i knew sooner...the tour guide will also give you some info on the history n the process involved in parliament...but being an ignorant man towards the government, i choose to just listen the mumbling sounds...and took pictures instead...
